Mentions - publications

Check the number of publications on the topic

The list of results in the Newspoint Panel includes all articles, broadcasts, programmes, entries, images, videos and comments found on the selected topic, 10 per page. The number can be increased to 100 publications per page. Presented results on the list are arranged in chronological order – from the newest to the oldest. You can specially mark publications you have already read so that you don’t view them again.

Metadata

Know the parameters of each publication

See how many likes, shares and comments a particular publication has received. Check the number of views and followers for each profile.

Publication reach

How many people have seen the publication?

The estimated reach of a publication is an indicator expressing the number of people who may have had contact with a selected publication, estimated on the basis of readership in the case of press titles, the monthly number of unique users of portals and the average reach and scale of activity under social media posts.

Publications overtone

What is the reception of the messages?

Percentage of publications divided into negative, positive and neutral. Neutral publications are materials in which the author rationally, without emotional overtones, describes his/her attitude towards the issue under study. Positive and negative publications are entries containing emotional overtones, positive or negative, respectively.

Speed of data collection

Mentions are available even moments after publication

Real Time Monitoring. You get access to real-time publications for selected services (e.g. Twitter and portals) up to several minutes for others.

Tracking of individual media and services

Internet, social media, press, radio and TV

You have the ability to monitor and exclude selected sources. Select data for sources of interest, not only by media type, but also by specific channels or press titles and RTV broadcasts. The platform allows you to narrow down your press and RTV sources to nationwide or just regional ones.

Alerts

E-mail notifications of new publications

Every new publication on a topic of interest can be sent to your e-mail. In this way, you will not miss any important mention in the media you monitor. You can receive alerts at selected times of day or continuously, immediately after publication in the media (live monitoring).

Tags

Labelling of publications found

Search articles and publications can be archived and described with tags as a handy database. This way, you can divide them into smaller groups and gain even easier access to only selected tags.

AVE

Advertising equivalent of publications

Check how much the communication activities and publications were worth in terms of currency if you had to pay for them if they were an advertisement or sponsored article.

Filtering of results

Narrow down the results

You can filter the publications you search by source, tone, reach, equivalent, metadata, gender and selected date range. You will only receive material that falls within the criteria of the filters you have selected.

Search by authors

Search for publications by your favourite authors

Monitor opinion leaders and find the latest publications and comments. See lists of authors who have published the most frequently, received the most likes, the most comments, the most impressions, or generated the most AVEs on a given topic during a given period.

Searching for words in URLs

Link building and SEO under control

Search for keywords in the URLs of documents collected by Newspoint. If the phrases you are looking for are found after publication of the article or entry in the domain, directory or web address path, you can find them via Newspoint Panel.

Advanced search

Exclude words from ambiguous threads

The system provides extensive possibilities to define search criteria (including inflection, exclusions, contexts, variety, logical operators and maximum distance between keywords). Apply them and use them for even the most complex queries.

Share of voice

Brand share of voice

Check the percentage share of media discussion about your organisation/brand compared to the sum of material about your competitors in the selected comparative aspect. Share of voice compares media mentions of us with mentions of the selected competitor.

Share of discussion

Participation in the discussion

Measure the percentage of media coverage of your organisation/brand in relation to the total amount of material on the topic. Measure your results and compare with those of all your competitors.

Influencers

Do influencer mapping

Select influencers and celebrities best matched to your brand’s promotional campaigns. Check the performance of influencers with accounts on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, blog) who have large groups of fans who follow their posts on a regular basis.

Charts and statistics

Graphical presentation of data in charts

Observe publication mentions and trend changes in clear charts. Download them as image files and use them in your business presentations. See on a world map which countries your findings come from.

Access to source material

Access to audio, video and press materials

Listen to audio material, watch video publications and read interesting extracts from press releases. Follow the link to the article, blog post or social media comment.

Data export

Generation of a random sample when exporting data

The tool allows you to download data to a .csv, .xls, .docx, .pdf file and further deep analyse the data using specialist spreadsheet software. You can download all the publications you have searched for. In the case that the number of publications obtained is very large and their overall analysis would be very time-consuming, you can download a random sample from the results.
